Crossfade

Since it’s been about 5 years since Antione mentioned there is no crossfade capability, I would like to add my vote to have this added to the software. I’m getting too many abrupt starts and stops from otherwise immersive listening sessions. Are there any others who would like this feature?

What exactly are you looking for?
I listen to music without these behaviors you are describing for hours… modulating all PCM files to DSD128 using plug-in HRTF DSP and the playback of binaural DSD…
Please paste your debug information report here so folks can help the best possible…

Yes and Yes ! Both automated as an option if so desired, when a playlist or even album is running or when switching tracks manually. Would be great to even be able to set a certain fade time or even style on a per playlist basis (ok let’s not go wild with ideas here… ).
Fades are generally nice for compilations/playlists specifically and very much appreciated when ‘entertaining’

Hmm…maybe I wasn’t clear. I’m just interested in a straight crossfade capability that could be used to smoothly transition from one song to the next with a little overlap. Ideally this overlap could be a setting that would allow user to decide how much overlap they want between songs. Here’s hoping…

Of course it’s a very good idea. I remember I used a crossfade plugin with Winamp 20+ years ago. Very cool and pleasant. Foobar also support this. I will definitely use such a feature in some cases (for example a playlist with club / electro / easy listening / radio hits). Some users here think any new feature could have a negative effect on the sq - what a stupidity!
