Custom setting of Upsampling not remembered

I use origin, but when I turn off Upsampling, it resets the values that were set in the custom settings, so I would like to be able to memorize them.
Best regards.

Hi @leaves,

Can you send us a copy of the "Debug Info“ when you have this behavior? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>My account.

Note: When you click on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content. Please paste it in response to this message.

Hi,
I tried a little and noticed that if you exit the app once after you have Deactivated from Custom, to be exact, and then start it up and select Custom, the settings are reset. I set all the sample rates to 48kHz for clarity.
When I looked at the debug info in that state, the debug info showed the values I had set as they were. I have also attached an image of the actual setting screen at the same timing as the debugging information.
The actual operation seems to be the one shown in the image.

What is the object of configuring upsampling with custom settings…? What are your custom upsampling targets.? What is the sample-rate capabilities of the DAC you have attached to this DDC and what transmission protocol are you connecting to the DAC with?

:notes: :eye: :headphones: :eye: :notes:

The purpose of upsampling custom is to make the sampling rate the same as the windows sampling rate so that I can play game sounds and videos while playing sound in Audirvana. There are days when we do that.
The DAC supports up to 768 kHz and the DDC to DAC connection is I2S.

In this scenario… just disable upsampling…

For critical listening use “Power of Two” upsampling…

:notes: :eye: :headphones: :eye: :notes:

When playing a song with a sample rate different from the windows sample rate, no other sound can be played since it is exclusive use. Therefore, it is necessary to match them.
In my case, when I concentrate on listening to a song, I turn off upsampling. I like it best that way.

It sounds like you are looking for a list of custom upsampling ‘presets’ to choose from, so to manage different playback scenarios…

This problem has not been fixed in 2.5.18. When do you expect it to be fixed?

hi @leaves,

To understand your use case better, how do you use the custom settings of upsampling?

You set everything to 48khz, then after you change the upsampling setting to deactivate, and once you reactivate it and select custom, the setting does not return as before.

Hi,
It doesn’t have to be 48khz, but after changing some value somewhere in the custom settings, disable the up-sampling setting and restart Audirvana once. Then select the custom settings again and everything is back to default.
If you do not restart, they will not be initialized.
