I have Denon AVC 3700H and auidrvana does not see correcty denon’s DAC.
It is 32bit and 768 kHZ cabable dac as well as DSD cabable. However Audirvana sees it as 24bit 192kHZ and no DSD support. Is there a bug with Audirvana that it soes not see Denon’s DAC correctly. My frend who uses audrivana has 4600 model and has the same issue.
On forum however I found in the topic “Need help with settings on Windows 10 NUC” a printscreen from Denon’s AVC -X4700H with correct settings.
Can you please advise.
OK my bad, it has DAC 32bit/ 768kHZ but stereo playback for FLAC and other formats is limited to 24bit /192kHz
Are you connected via USB or you’re streaming using UPnP?
It could be related to HEOS system, and the resolutions above 24/192 can be achieved only using UPnP.
Can you dump the debug info here?

The issue you have is related to HEOS/Audirvana compatibility issue, I already talked about it with a software engineer of SoundUnited and didn’t have a clear response about it except that we would probably need the implementation of HEOS in Audirvana to make it work properly which is not quite convenient.
This is not a good news, Had I known it I would have never purchased Denon. Anyway it will be my last amp from this company as it seems they are the only ones that have so big compatibility issue with your software. Form my side I will send them official complaint about this case. Let’s see what their reaction will be.
You shouldn’t stress too much about it. Your device is not high end enough to really benefit from those higher sample rates.
Some 98% of the content available is 16/44.1 anyway.
