Difference between Playlists, Help

I have 2 playlists that are displaying the info differently and I’m not sure how to correct it. I thought I created them the same way, but apparently not.

Playlist 4**** displays the songs as expected. Title/Artist/Album/etc.

Where as Playlist 5***** shows the artist’s entire record (not just the tagged song).

I’m trying to determine why 5***** is this way and how to correct it so it is like 4****
Notice that the “pull-down” options are different between these 2 Playlists. Not clear why.

Ten minutes later…

OK, I think I solved it on the Mac.
It’s the “view” selection highlighted in RED.

But that changes nothing on the iPad.

This is Playlist 4****

and this is Playlist 5*****

See how one is “Sort Local Library Tracks” and the other is “Sort Local Library Albums”. The prior is what I prefer, but not sure how to get there.

Hi @Ric1,

I double-checked, and when you create a smart playlist, it is, by default, set as a track view and not an album. So I don’t know what happened on your side, but it’s really strange.

Regarding the remote app, when the playlist is opened, an eye icon should be displayed; click on it, and it will track the view from an album.
