Direct Mode on Apple Silicon (M1, macOS Ventura)

I have an M1 Mac mini running Ventura and I managed to copy El Capitan’s onto System/Library/Extensions but somehow Direct Mode is still unavailable in 3.5.50

Has anyone had luck enabling Direct Mode on Apple Silicon ?

Last system working was Catalina if a remember well.
