I am testing a beta version of the Neo Stream firmware, together with a new version of the Linux kernel. This gives that via upnp you can stream up to DSD512 (the maximum of the NS) direct into the NS and from there direct into a dac (e.g. T+A dac200). Until now only Dop was possible up to DSD256 on a Mac.
So far no hiccups whatsoever and fine sound.
I don’t know when the official release is. For some of you this maybe interesting.
