Disturbing noise while playing

Hello,

My setup is experiencing a very important noise issue while playing DSD or ISO files with Audirvana. The problem can be seen at Noise video
Audirvana runs in a Mac Mini MD387 with 4 Gb of Ram memory.

The Dac is a Mcintosh C47

Thank you in advance if you can help me with this.

Best regards

GAbriel

Hello @gabote,

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Hello @Antoine

Does it happen in DSD 64, 128, 256 or 512 or with any type of DSD?

Hello, @Antoine, I only have DSD 64 files in my library, so I’m not able to confirm what happens with the others. I’ll try to get one DSD 128 and let you know what happens.

Hello @Antoine I’m afraid the problem remains with DSD 128 files, see attached: Audirvana DSD 128

Hello @Antoine, I wonder if you could take a look at my answer. Thank you!!

I have had something similar. Try to disable the integer mode, that helped in my setup.

Hello there! Just in case someone has had the same problem, It was solved in my case by upgrading the RAM memory of my 2012 Mac Mini to 16 Gb, Audirvana works perfect now. Cheers
