In the playback and processing of the digital-audio data for network distribution, the CPU is handling multiple system-level digital-audio processing activities that require RAM to run efficiently… Either add more RAM or lower your pre-load memory allocation to 2GB
You’ve gotten good advice from Djm1960 and Jud… Yamaha speaks to wireless interruptions in the manual… This is a common problem when employing wireless transmission of digital-audio data signals across any given network architecture, and to compound the problem of transmission interrupts and/or gross data corruption, there is no error-correction of the digital-audio data signal in the UPnP protocol.
Just a heads-up… It appears that MusicCast is limited to 5.6MHz (DSD128) transmission.
