Hi all - can anyone please help or advise? I am running Windows 11 USB > Douk Audio U2 Pro > Fiio R2R Warmer DAC (COAX and Optical in from Douk U2) > Topping L70 Headphone amp. I’ve downloaded the driver for the Douk U2 and it all works fine when COAX is selected on the Fiio R2R DAC. However there is no output to the Fiio R2R when Optical is selected on the Fiio R2R. Any suggestions would be greatly received.
Are you upsampling with Audirvāna? Maximum Toslink optical output for the Douk is 192kHz PCM or DSD64.
If it’s not that, do you have other equipment with optical input and/or output and another Toslink cable, so you can narrow down what’s not working?

If you have both interconnects attached… More-likely-than-not you can only connect either the Coaxial S/PDIF or the TOSLink optical interconnect… To verify, disconnect the interconnects and attach them one-at-a-time and test… If the condition persists, contact the device manufacturer(s) for assistance.
Hi Both - thank you so much for the help. I swapped over the optical cable and that solved the issue. It’s a shame as the faulty one is a Chord, which was working on another piece of equipment up to a week ago (out of warranty). Thanks again for resolving the issue.
