DSD conversion, after stop: high pitch tone

I am using version 1.0.0.1021 (with license)

I have activated the DSD 256 conversion option (using Chord Mojo as DAC)
Its sounds great, when streaming Qobuz streams.

But after stopping playing music I hear a high pitch tone. It can only be stopped by playing a new sound.

By stopping, you mean pressing the stop button on Audirvana Plus?
If yes, then the audio device is completely released. In this case, if there is such a high pitch tone on your Chord mojo, you will want to contact Chord product support.

Yes, its only happens when pressing stop with dsd conversion option enabled.(PCM to DSD)

When pressing pause, it does not happen.

It also does not happen in the OSX version of Audirvana.

It also does not happen in Jriver ( windows or osx version)

It also does not happen with native DSD playback on Audirvana.

It only happens with Windows 10 Audirvana, with DSD conversion option enabled (see screenshot)

I can confirm that this problem, which I view as minor (but that’s just me), exists with SMSL M8A DAC and iFi iDSD nano BL DAC. It would seem to belong firmly to Audirvana. I look forward to this being fixed in a future release.

Paul

I do have a iFi micro iDSD BL, and not this issue.
Do you have any other audio application installed, or audio effect installed?

I have installed standaard applications: Qobuz, Jriver

No audio effect installed or used.

I have only the following sound-related apps installed - Audirvana, Foobar 2000.

All sound is handled by ASIO. The problem is intermittent for me. It does not happen on every ‘stop’ but perhaps half.

my ‘solution’ for now:

first press: ‘pauze’

and then press '‘stop’
