This is an interesting statement…
“Clipping” is a gain related anomaly. It appears that you have many gain stages to manage with this unusual setup… My bet is if you simplify your system configuration by using something like the IFI-Audio “Zen Stream” device, this ‘clipping’ issue may be moot.
