Duplicates on Mac when running Synology NAS

I read a lot in the forums but could never resolve the issue.
I don’t ever use Itunes and have all syncing turned off by default.
I also don’t use any trash bin or any other aforementioned service on the NAS.
Would really appreciate a solution for this.
I have enjoyed the software greatly, but this is becoming quite nerve racking at this point.
Thank you

Hello @Ben_zen,

Have you tried to delete the file AudirvanaPlusDatabaseV2.sqlite to restart from scratch?
It is located in ~/Library/Application Support/Audirvana
To access ~/Library with the Finder, you can use its Go menu while pressing the option (or alt) key. This reveals the Library command in this Go menu.

Special Warning : When you delete the file AudirvanaPlusDatabaseV2.sqlite, you will lose all the Playlists you created in Audirvana. However, you can back-up all those Playlists by exporting them before deleting the database file.

Did that, duplicates are back within the hour.
I can’t fathom how this is not fixed by now.
Clearly seems to be a common issue …

How do you connect to the NAS, AFS, SMB/CIFS or NFS? Make sure you have the full RW rights on the share where your music files library is stored.
