Exclusive Access stopped working in macOS Sonoma + Origin 2.5.1

Title. With Exclusive Access enabled, I can still hear sounds from other apps while listening to Audirvana.

Hi @klz,

Does the sound you hear is coming from your MacBook Speakers?

No, from my headphones. Previously, it wasn’t even possible to select my DAC as general output device for macOS when Audirvana was playing something, and now – it’s possible to do so.

To illustrate what I’m trying to say:

Audirvana is playing though my DAC and macOS is successfully using my DAC as an output device

I have not updated to Sonoma yet but will come back to you after I have been able to try reproducing the issue on my side with Ventura.

Sorry for this very late reply. I switched to Sonoma 14.1.1 and I do not experience such behavior. I literally can’t select the device on MacOs audio settings when Audirvāna Origin is playing to it :confused:
