Fatal error adding folder to watchlist

Had a problem with almost all my albums suddenly greyed out.

Deleted my two music folders, restarted, then tried to add them to watchlist again. However, now just get the above fatal error.

I have the latest version of Audirvana (3.5.40). Cannot seem to find solution in existing posts.

Hello @nick,

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Hi Damien

Thanks so much for being prepared to help; much appreciated.

Regards

Nick

Can you check your database using the three commands in the Maintenance section of the preferences page?

Command 1 & command 2:
“Unknown error”

Command 3 (Defragment):
Clicked OK but nothing happened

It think you will need to remove your audirvana database and create a new one.

Special Warning : When you delete the file AudirvanaPlusDatabaseV2.sqlite, you will lose all the Playlists you created in Audirvana. However, you can back-up all those Playlists by exporting them before deleting the database file.

You first need to close Audirvana, then go to the Finder:

  1. Open its Go menu

  2. Pressing the option (or alt) key, and maintain it pressed. This reveals the Library command in this Go menu.

  3. Click on this Library command

  4. In the Finder window that opens, navigate into Application Support, then Audirvana

  5. You’ll find there the file AudirvanaPlusDatabaseV2.sqlite (This is the one for Audirvana 3.5, the other is for the older version 3).

After removing it, open Audirvana again and try to add you folder to be synced with Audirvana.

Thanks so much for all your help. That did the trick.

I still seem to have fewer album covers (artwork) showing, but can’t face downloading each of them separately and adding to metadata so will just leave them blank.
