I already reported on how Audirvana 3.5 handles FLAC multi-tag metadata (e.g., when multiple composers of a given track are encoded with separate COMPOSER tags, as soon as Audirvana changes anything in the tracks metadata, it deletes all those “additional” tags except the first one).
Back at the time, I reached out to the team, who reassured me that they intended to work on this (before admitting they never planned to).
I am glad the trial version exists since I can confirm that Audirvana Origin still handles FLAC metadata very poorly… You can make your software sound “better” but as long as it’s removing metadata from my tracks, I am definitely not buying this…
