Getting error since update

It has been working fine for awhile without any issues, but been crashing since last update. Please see image i’m getting almost every time the track changes.

Works fine with ASIO, but crashes almost every time with WASAPI. I now cannot play MQA files at full potential as my dac (ifi zen dac) only works fully with WASAPI before.

Ok forget it, restarting the laptop fixed it.

Hello.Today I purchased the license, installed version 13.5.13 (my OS is Windows 10). It often happens that playing a song the following message appears: “Audirvana has exited unexpectebly: a miniDump file has been generated. Do you want to show it in explorer?”. After that message Audirvana doesn’t work anymore and it crashes.
I noticed that this issue happens more often playing MQA files (I use Tidal and Dragonfly Red).
Please help me to solve this issue (it had never happened before the update to version 13.5.13). Thanks in advance.

Hello @Bob10 and @Yoh_Nery,

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message.

Hi @Antoine

Got mine fixed after restarting my laptop. Running the new version without any issues so far.

Thank you.

Hi,
I am getting the same error since the last update. Only when I try to play mqa files from tidal. I use dragonfly black as dac. If I play mqa files trough laptop speakers I don’t get any problem. I tried on another laptop, same problem.
When hit the debug info button, I get another error : unhandlledException: OpenClipboard Failed
But it still copy the info:

Hi Demien, how i can take a copy of the “Debug info”?, Audirvana produces a text? Tell me where i can find the file to paste here. Thanks in advance.

You can find it here, you have a button “Debug Info” to press and all of his content is automatically copied in your clipboard.

Hello Audirvana Team, I’m having the same issue described by the users above. Same error message, “Audirvana has exited unexpectebly: a miniDump file has been generated. Do you want to show it in explorer?.” Only when playing MQA devices from Tidal.

It started happening a couple of days ago, I think after a new update was released. The issue only happens when playing Tidal’s MQA files, in my case, using the Dragonfly Cobalt as Dac. When I select a different Dac, like the one from my speakers or TV, I can reproduce Tidal’s MQA files without any issues.

I also noticed something about this issue mentioned by @Bob10, that might be of help. The issue only happens when clicking on the option “Auto-detect MQA devices,” within the DAC’s settings. If I deselect this option, and choose the Dragonfly Cobalt as MQA Renderer manually, the issue does not persists. However, I’m not sure if this affects the audio quality in any way, so I gathered the Debug info of the issue when using the option “Auto-Detect MQA devices” when using my Dragonfly Cobalt.

Here is the Debug info:

Hello @Rodrigoiki and @p3trrru,

There is currently an issue with the autodetection of MQA device with Windows 10 version of Audirvana. Can you deactivate it and set your DAC manually to Renderer?

Hello,

If I set DAC manually to renderer I don’t get the error anymore. In my opinion the sound quality is the same.

@Antoine, Where have I seen this error before?
