I need help to enable HoloAudio Red as ‘OUTPUT DEVICE’ on my Windows11.

  • I set UPnP for output on Red using browser on my Windows11.
  • ‘SSDP Discovery’ and ‘UPnP Device Host’ are Running on my Windows11.
  • router has UPnP enabled.
  • then I rebooted Red, Windows, and router.
What else to do? Any help, please?
    Regards, Vadim.

Check the Windows network type: it must be Private and not Public

Hi Stefano! Thanks for suggestion, the Windows network type is Private. What else I should look at to add HoloAudio Red as ‘OUTPUT DEVICE’? How to troubleshoot?

  • Try turning off Windows Defender Firewall or allowing inbound communication.

  • Anti-virus programs will sometimes prevent Audirvana from accessing a UPnP endpoint. If your antivirus has a place where you can see what applications are allowed access to the local network and what is being blocked, see if Audirvana is being blocked and allow it access if possible.
