HQ AAC Stations don't play since last update

Hello @Antoine. I’m a happy Windows AS user, probabily you know me :smiley: From last AS Windows update (2.5.0) I can’t play AAC radios with more than 64 kb/s bitrate. “Unable to play” or skip to next track if it’s a playlist. I was very upset and installed Tapin Radio wich works perfect. But I really like AS sound (Kernel Streaming Extreme)!

UPDATE: Just tested again. This time surprise: no radio station works (location Romania IPv4). Podcasts works, Qobuz works, local playback works, the radio function doesn’t exist for me, at least for the moment.

Just updated to the latest version 2.5.1. The problem is fixed, including those AAC radio streams. Thank you for your quick fix. Btw, what do you mean by “whose server is not properly configured”? Do you think it’s their fault? Just curious.

Hi @DGrigorescu,

Yep, there shoutcast server would only respond to a GET http request and we didn’t use it until the 2.5.1, we used a different method that seems to been removed by them.
