You may have a damaged preferences file.
To reset it, open the Terminal application, and enter the following command:
defaults delete com.audirvana.Audirvana-Studio
Thanks, Antoine, that did the trick. 
And that also helped my issue that AS not always was very responsive when I wanted to use Macs internal speakers. I had to switch it off/on several times. Not it works every time.
Maybe this reset thing should be implemented so it automatically does its magic once a month or so? Best kk
And that reset thing also mad AS much more responsive and quicker loading and quitting.
