Interrupted playback on Hi-Rez flac files

I have 2 albums in 24 bit 192 kHz FLAC downloaded from Acoustic Sounds. Both have the same issue when playing back on Audirvana (Windows 10). The tracks do not load completely (progress bar for buffering of track stops before completion), and playback interrupts part way through track, then resumes.

Is this a buffering issue? These files are stored on the local drive (SSD). Why would there be a buffering issue?

Hello @ronlee,

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Still having the same issue. Example: 24/192 download of Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue from Acoustic Sounds. 1st track is 9:07 long. At about the 2:33 mark the track timer resets to 0:00 elapsed/9:07 remaining, sometimes with a momentary glitch. At some point later in the track there is longer pause (1/2 second?) and the counter resets to 0:00 again. The track plays without issue in MediaMonkey so it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the file.

Debug info taken during longer pause:

Audirvana 3.5.42

Can you change this setting so you can use 3000 or 4000MB has memory for Audirvana? You can change it in the audio output settings:

Thanks, that did the trick! I thought there might be a setting for this, but didn’t know where it was.
