Jump to next tiltle

Hi I recently started my trial period.
I regularly observe a problem. The playback jumps to the next title in the queue before the title has ended. It happens never in the middle of a track, but always several seconds before the end. It does not happen always but often, until now I did not find out with what the behavior is correkated. It happens with Qobuz, Tidal streaming and direct playback.
Do you have a solution?

Hello @Sascha,

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info Audirvana button automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Hi Damion here my debuginfo. Thanks Sascha

Can you make a video of the issue you describe? This would be much clearer to understand what is the source of the issue.

Hello Damien, it was quite hard to do a video, but here you can find it https://my.hidrive.com/share/3mciu0sxzf.

It seems the issue does only occur at the end of a track when the track is played from its very beginning (but not 100% sure about it).
When I start the playback at a point close to the end it seems not to (not sure if never) happen.
It does not only occur when there is a next track to jump to, but can also occur at the last track of a playlist like it was in the video.
The point at which the playback stops varies for different tracks from I would say 3 to 10 seconds - not sure if for the same track it always stops at the same time if it stops, but at least for the track in the video I tried to repeat and it was the same.
I hope there is a solution, because like this it is not fun to listen with audirvana, as you can see how in the video the wonderful ending of the song is cut :-/

Best regards
Sascha

Hello @Sascha, thank you for the video. Unfortunately you need to do a video of the software, not the Remote app so we can better understand the issue.

Sorry, but the software is not showing anything different, what would you expect there?
Under these conditions I think I will just not buy…

Thanks
Sascha

We need to see the interface to understand how Audirvana is handling your file and what cause the stop of playback. The Remote can’t help us with this since it’s not the software.

Hi, indeed I was wrong, the sofware is not showing the same. The title is loaded with the right length, but in some point in time shortend to 7 seconds less.
You can find the video of the whole track in the directory above.

I watched your video and saw the frequency of the file you are sending to your DAC. I then looked at your debug info and saw your DAC capability. Why your DAC only have 192Khz capability?

Hi Damien, I am not sure if I understand your question correct. RME Babyface Pro FS of course has different frequency capability. For WASAPI mode a sample frequency needs to be choosen and I set it to 192kHz.
I tried now to use ASIO mode instead. I put the debug info below.
For the song with input 24/96 Audirvana now says the output is 32/96 5.1ch and the song plays until the end.
I am a bit confused where the 5.1ch comes from, but anyhow it seems to work like this.

The ASIO driver you have only have 32 bit capability

Your Device can use 5.1 for your music, if you don’t want to have your music in 5.1 you can force to use Stereo in your audio output settings in Audirvana.
