Kernel Streaming Playback Optimization - Different Options?

Hello - I’ve searched the web high and low and can’t seem to find an answer to this question, so I figured I would pose it here. In the DAC output device settings in Audirvana, there is an option for Kernel Streaming Playback Optimization. This defaults to “standard,” but there is also a “high” and “extreme” option. Does anyone know the difference between these options and why/when should they be used?

Thanks in advance!

I think it’s either setting the playback priority on Audirvana or increasing the buffer.

@SiwakornK - thanks for the information. That’s helpful. I’ll keep my eye open for buffer changes. I’ve occasionally seen times where the is a buffer delay when playing audio, though rarely. Hopefully this setting mitigates that. Thanks again.
