Hi,
it seems that the latest versions of Audirvana Origin 2.6.0 and Audirvana Studio 2.11.0 are not available on the download page for Linux, is it normal?
Those are published to the software repositories of your linux distribution.
Thanks a lot for this information.
Is there a repository for Archlinux as I’m using Audiolinux based on Archlinux.
Archlinux users like @Jud can answer that. I don’t know if Audirvana pushes the updates to that repository as well.
For the record: I haven’t see the new version in the APT repository system that Debian based distributions use yet.
It’s Piero from Audiolinux who maintiens Arch linux version, and he do not have the package… And Debian is not on apt too…
The reality is Audirvana forgot to give their binaires on site…
I confirm, Piero is making Archlinux packages using the packages of Audirvana on Linux download area and these packages aren’t available into this download area.
I hope it’s just an omission on their part.
Asked @Antoine this question yesterday. The Linux versions will be released next week. The main reason for this is that the new app isn’t ready yet so it is only effective for the multichannel UPnP feature at this point. The EQ can only be effectively used on Linux when the app is available.
So this is a deliberate choice for now.
Thanks a lot for your explanation @Amarok1969 .
Still on 2.10:
I think there is not reason
I mean Debian version… Of course Debian use apt
Hi guys, the update for linux version is now available.
Hi Antoine,
Thanks a lot for the update.
