Running headless, I would suspect Audirvana to sound even better.

There’s a large thread on this. Here’s my completely subjective opinion:

So far I have tried Windows, Fedora, Xubuntu, ArcoLinux (Arch-based distro) desktop, Ubuntu Server, and Arch install without GUI (in ascending order of preference) on exactly the same hardware. Others have had different preferences or hear no difference.
