Mac library sync very slow on smb share

Hello,
I run Audirvana latest 2.2.3 (trial period) on Monterey, mac mini M1 8Go.
14000 flac on the music share (smb) r/w on my Unraid server, Gigabit network.

The first sync took around 30 min. thats ok.
The problem is, each time i add new album, it takes around the same time to update as if it was the first sync. a bit frustrating…

Hi @plasticman

Seems excessive if you’re only adding a few files.
May not make a difference, but is this toggle activated in your settings?

thanks for your feedback.
yes it is. you can see it on my screen capture.
at first it was disable. i synced manually, it was taking the same time.

Hi @plasticman,

Can you try to open Audirvāna Origin using Terminal? You can find it under the Utilities folder in Application.
We recommend you to copy and paste each line one at a time and press return each time you paste a line:

cd ..
cd ..
 
Applications/Audirvana\ Origin.app/Contents/MacOS/Audirvana\ Origin

This will open Audirvāna Origin automatically, can you check the track currently syncing?

This kind of error indicates that there is an error in the cue sheet. Does the track path in this cue sheet still exist or not? You can also send the cue sheet to me at [email protected] so I can check it out on my side

I think I understand the problem.

i have many .cue files with references to original WAV files from the source of the flac.
For exemple :

Antidotes.cue

PERFORMER "Foals"
TITLE "Antidotes"

Audirvana doesn’t find the wav files, so it gives an error.

I have no use of these cue files, so i deleted them. so it’s fixed for me.
Sync takes less than a minute now.
