Using HDMI to a Trinnov Altitude 32 using Windows 10 I can set any sample rate I want. If I use the same settings on the Trinnov and my Mac mini the only option in AudioMidi is 48K.
I know my way around a Mac (I thought) but never used HDMI for audio with one. Is 48K the only option apple will do with HDMI?
Can you send a screenshot of what you see in Audio Midi Setup?
In Audio Midi the only option is 48K. All other rates are grayed out
I contacted Apple and was told that all audio from a Mac Mini M1 using the HDMI port is 48K. No matter what the source file rate is it is converted to 48K, so I am returning it and will use my Windows 10 computerā¦ Thanks for the follow up
