This SysOpt bug should not be a bug for more than 5 minutes for me…
Don’t wait for Audirvana to make it work for you…
You are alone here 
Most people have not that bug… So, You have to cure it yourself…
First, i don’t allow Audirvana more then it needs… i have a mac 2018 mini, so i don’t have a screen…so, screen saver IS allowed in Audirvana prefs… don’t let Audirvana control screen when you have not one… same as Time Machine backup…put it off. I have time machine backup on my Mac Mini, but they are manually done… since my Mac Mini is only for music, i don’t backup every minutes… i do that, WHEN I want… so, don’t let Audirvana manage that…
LET Audirvana manage your music only…not your computer…
what i do?
trash those preferences in my macOS…
yes, i’m talking about only Mac people,
since i’m not a PC guy or this problem is firstly only macOS ??
Trashing those preferences come first in my mind…
then, you will lose your layout settings, no…
your DAC settings, your Audirvana all things settings, no.
but, easy to pull them back on… save them first, then trash those all after.
Then, empty trash.
Restart Mac,
restart Audirvana…
add music folder… already there, good
asked for access? Yes, agreed…
then, hit a song…
Audirvana wants to install sysOpt…
say yes… enter password??
then maybe go into Mac preferences system panel
and allow Audirvana for external disc or allow Sysopt…
enter password…
should be finished for lifelong ??

By the way, Sonoma or any other before macOS system should apply…

I tried what you suggested. It seems to work. At least for now, Audirvana didn’t ask me twice to install SysOpt.
As for your comment about “Don’t wait for Audirvana to make it work for you…”, while that might be true, I strongly think a simple answer (perhaps to tell me to follow the steps you told me) from devs would have been nice, or at least for sake of politeness.
