Macbook Crash — Audirvana metadata file missing

Hi folks:

Last night, the battery in my Macbook failed. After I plugged in the mains and restarted, I re-launched Audirvana, only get a welcome/setup screen, as though it had only just been downloaded. Audirvana still recognises that it’s registered to me, but the metadata file in Library/Applications Support has vanished.

So I tried to set Audirvana up from scratch, but now it refuses to see my music library, which is stored on a separate portable hard drive.

Has anyone else been through this? and if so, can they suggest a fix, please? I had more than 800 albums in that library, and the idea of re-entering all that metadata again makes me want to go lie down…

Your meta should be written on the music files. Go the prefs panel of A+, library tab and remove all if their is any there. Close A+.
Go to User… Home Folder… Library… Applications Support… Audirvana Folder…
Trash All the files in that folder (that is your database of music, back it up! or not)
Go to User… Home Folder… Library… Preferences…
trash com.audirvana.Audirvana-Plus.plist in that folder (those are A+ software preferences)
Go to User… Home Folder… Library… Caches… com.audirvana.Audirvana-Plus
trash the files in that folder

Restart MAC. Restart A+
Tell it where is your music folder and wait till it finishes.
