I have a MacMini connected via USB and HDMI to my XMC-1 (PreAmp & DAC). I have DSD and ISO files on the Mac, and would like to have proper playback of these 5.1 and 2.0 DSD/SACD files. Reading the Emotiva board, it sounds like we can send native DSD for passthrough on the XMC via HDMI, but I can not get it to work. Can anyone help me with the Mini/Audirvana settings so I can achieve this goal?
This should work only with DSD64. What’s the resolution of the files you’re testing with?
