hello audirvana, i’m just wondering why the studio could not detect my matrix dac as you know this a full MQA certified DAC. i have to explicitly tell audirvana studio that my dac is a renderer or decoder naturally i select the decoder option. my point is why is it the studio could not autodetect that this is a full MQA device that can render and decode? basically what is happening now its the software that does the rendering part but what i want is that my DAC would do both.
Just set it manually to MQA Decoder in the DAC settings. MQA capability detection is tricky, sometimes it just doesn’t work.
