How does metadata work in Audirvana? Does it follow the ID3 convention? I’m having trouble displaying the name of the playing artist? When I go to “show artist list”, I see the composer instead of the artist. I have over 25,000 track. I do not relish the idea of editing each one manually
Inconsitent, bad or missing metadata is why some people have been requesting that A+ should allow sorting and browsing by folder/file structure, as some of us use a simple approach in our music stores filing logically regardless of metadata (see the thread ‘Welcome back Damien, when you have a moment’ where someone has set out in detail).
