Minor issue - MQA flag

A minor issue regarding the display of the MQA status of a track.

If you play an MQA album, the MQA is correctly shown:
1

After that, if you play a non-MQA track, the flag is correctly NOT shown:
2

But if you play again the first MQA track, the flag is not displayed anymore:

Hi @Mahatma63, We are aware of this. That’s because the MQA flag is not properly sent back when you go from a non-MQA track to an MQA track.

If you play tracks in this order: MQA - PCM - MQA - MQA, you should see the MQA logo, can you test this?

No way, the behaviour is the same.
The only way to show the MQA logo again is to click on the “lock” icon in order to release the audio output.

Ok, what is the name of your device?

It’s an MQA Renderer, right?

It is a Gustard R26, both MQA decoder and renderer DAC

Thank again for your support Antoine, if you need some test on my side I am here to help.

Hi @Mahatma63,

I tried your issue with an IFI Neo iDSD, and I don’t get the same behavior. Does the R26 display MQA even when you don’t see the MQA logo in Audirvāna?

Yes @Antoine , the R26 displays MQA:
