Missing albums in Audirvana Studio on Windows 10

Running AS on Windows 10. My music is stored on a Synology NAS, the SMB share is mapped as a network drive. I can see the complete music folder content in Explorer. When I add that folder to the AS local library just a couple of folders/albums get recognized, others just missing. If I add an artist subfolder to the AS local library albums get recognized well.

The same NAS music share is connected to a Mac via AFP, no issues so far with AS on MacOS.

Any ideas how to make AS see that missing folders?

Hello @dmitry1by,

Are you able to access to the albums of those artists outside of the folder view in the Album view for example?

Hi, the albums are missing in every view, incl. Albums view.

Can you open the Play queue and then try to drag and drop one of the missing albums in it?

image

Do you see your album or not at all?

Yes, it works, it takes a while after drag and drop before AS loads tracks into the queue, but eventually the tracks are shown and playable with this method.

Can you send us one of those tracks to support@audirvana.com so we can try to reproduce your behavior?

Did so
