MQA files miss 10 seconds of play

2013 Mac Pro 12 core 32 gig with steinberg ur22c Tidal mqa play. Non mqa dac exclusive integer mode, buffer size max setting. MQA song starts with no sound for about 10 seconds before you hear anything.

Buffer size max ? What you mean by that? Audio buffer 4000mb to test.

You can’t use Upsampling with any MQA files i think…

I just changed to that setting {enable upsample} it actually seems to have improved the situation. Now it only stalls on the very first song you play after starting Studio.

you set not MQA able DAC…

Dac not mqa decoding able. Meant mostly for music production.

Not sure to understand, then why you choose MQA file instead or regular version if DAC cannot ??

Pull it down, you’ve got all your ram tied up, start around 4000 mb

Thanks, I had tried adjusting down but not enough. We are good now at around 4000. I can tinker more later.
