Using what codecs? It’s probably down sampling. I use airplay to my Sonos speakers sometimes and it’s really quite good
The adaptx hd I think is capable but Apple doesn’t support that yet…… I think? Not sure

I definitely don’t know enough about this, I just use the apple phone or iPad anyway. Maybe the android works a bit better more hires?

Yeah Ldac that’s what my Sony Bluetooth headphones use. Pretty good sound quality imo.

Actually getting to have too many options, I’ve got Denon/Marantz AVR that use HEOS to control……to many dang apps after awhile ya know.

I use my headphone DAC for ‘wireless’ - it’s bluetooth able, stick it in my pocket and use my wired phones., and in my kitchen I have a Ruark R1 mk4 dab radio w/bluetooth. That has some serious bottom.
