When will AS support the new HLS fmp4 streams?

It does not open on a browser but it is the new trend in radio streaming.

It is so new that a search turned up one classical station streaming in this format (the KUAT stream you linked), plus SOMA “experimenting” with the format across its channels. That’s it so far. So perhaps we should see whether the format will become viable?

Edit: I missed K-Free, a Christian Contemporary station.
