I am using Sony DMP-Z1 DAC/amp and Sony provides a driver for Windows. Does WASAPI sound better or should I use Sony’s AISO driver? Thanks for helping out a new to Windows user.
It shouldn’t make any difference. The good practice is to use the manufacturer’s driver if one is provided.

For me and my Yamaha a-s801, wasapi doesn’t support dsd files. I need to use Asio for having full support of all frequencies and all formats.
In the setup page of Audirvana you can see what is supported by sswitching wasapi/Asio.

I’ve compared the sound quality and I feel that AISO sounds better on my Sony DAC. Thank you for everyone’s feedback.
