New Volume Control Issue

I recently tried connecting my laptop directly to my DAC (Yggy with Unison USB) and am having an issue with volume control: it goes from zero sound to way too loud when moving the Audirvana slider no more than 6mm. Audirvana is set to use software volume control. I thought this might be an issue with Windows mixer but I can set the system volume to 1 or 100 and it makes no difference with the Audirvana volume control. Any help appreciated. Oh I also tried setting Audirvana to use keyboard volume controls but end up with the same issue: one or two clicks from zero and its way too loud.

Hello @boleary,

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

I’ve sent this as sugested, paste in reply, but I don’t believe you ever received it so I’m pasting the file here. Thanks.

Brian

Thanks for the quick reply. Normally I use an Allo Digione but recently upgraded my usb input in my DAC and wanted to give it a listen. Here is the Debug Info:

Hello @boleary, when you don’t have volume control enable, you can’t change your audio output audio in Audirvana?
