Hi. Loaded latest Audirvana updates but problem remains. Audirvana does not recognize the Playback Designs MPD-3, even though it shows/been selected with the audio output. Only change is that Audirvana is now not defaulting to the internal speakers, just that there is no sound. Grateful any suggestions that would help get this fixed.

if on Mac, open Utilities folder and lauch Audio Midi Setup… can you see DAC there?
iMac running Sierra. Continuing problem, not affecting other DACs. Previously reverted to internal speakers, now just no sound. Checked Audio Midi, & MPD-3 appears there. Opening Audirvana seems to click MPD-3 off, rather than establishing handshake.
Hello @spesalium, Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info” while you select your MPD-3? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Try to enable exclusive access and integer mode.
Appreciated the advice. Switched exclusive access and integer mode off & back on. Worked first time but not after I exited Audirvana, & tried it second time. Problem remains establishing reliable connection between Audirvana & MPD-3.
Looks like the magic combination is exclusive access on, integer mode off.
Power off both the device and the Mac. Start the Mac, power on the device and start Audirvana to make the settings changes.
