Today I started Audirvan Origin, same as usual… However it opened as if it was a new install, with all the pop up hints windows, and the default light colour scheme (i use dark).
It also started playing with a plugin I never use!, upsampling off ( i use upsampling ).
It did however show my library and playlist, so not all bad!
Do you think something may be corrupted, coupled with the sound issue I have? This is a fresh download of 2.5.2
Sounds like it might be an issue with your database file. I keep a clean backup of the database so that when I reinstall I can get my library back the way I want it. It certainly resets upsampling settings to how they were when the database was last saved. Not sure about plugins though as I never use any…….
I checked the database file I have and there are strings about upsampling settings, DAC settings etc so this is a potential culprit

Yeah, both the SSD report in good order using Disk Utilities.

Do you need to reset NVRAM?
NVRAM (or PRAM) is a small amount of memory that your Mac uses to store and quickly access certain system settings such as sound volume, display resolution, startup-disk selection, and time zone. These settings vary by Mac and the devices you’re using with it.
Normally you can manage these settings in System Preferences, without resetting NVRAM. If one or more settings still don’t work as expected, resetting NVRAM might help.

Hi Antoine, yes these odd behaviours are continuing.
It seems like Audirvana is forgetting it’s basic preferences, but differenty things seem to occur.Like the ‘plays with Audirvana’ pop up every time I change DAC.
Can you post a copy of the “Debug Info”?
We made the choice to display the window each time you select a PWA device when we launched the partnership program. We may add a button to not display it again per device in the future.

Can you move the AudirvanaPlusDatabaseV2 file to a different location and then do a backup of your playlist and favorites in Audirvāna Origin before removing the AudirvanaDatabase file?
Once done, reopen Audirvāna Origin, it will create a new file from scratch, please press next on all of the startup window and the software tour. Reopen the software once more to see if you still have the startup window and software tour appearing.
