Official way to reset the database

What is the current official way to reset the database and re-scan one’s library?

Make sure Audirvana is closed.

Go to Library>Application Support>Audirvana and delete this file:

AudirvanaPlusDatabase.sqlite

Then reboot Audirvana.

PLEASE NOTE - in my image below, you will see I also have a “V2” version of this file - this is my 3.5 because I also still have an older version…
You will simply delete the file name I listed above.

You need to delete the V2 file. the other one is for older versions of Audirvana

My mistake… I had them backwards.

I figured it was just the sqlite database but I wanted to be sure. I want to see if this fixes my RG issue.

Are the album covers, artist info and track numbers that I’ve entered into my database stored in the AudirvanaPlusDatabase.sqlite file?

If I delete the AudirvanaPlusDatabase.sqlite file and rescan the library (on a new USB HDD if I’m upgrading the library drive), will I lose all of that track info?

no, the info is in the file, but you will lose your playlists…

before deleting… just copy it somewhere else, so if you don’t like what you see with the new one, just put the old one in the same place and restart mac and Audirvana
