Old DAC without dsd

Hello everybody, can i do anything to make my five year old arcam irdac Play dsd-files? The newsletter about the newest update said the following:
“Even if your DAC isn’t natively DSD compatible, Audirvana allows you to decode and read all your DSD files, as well as SACD disc ISO images” …but i cant make it work.

In the DAC settings, there is the option „Convert DSD to PCM“.
