Origin / linux connecion bugs

Hi,

now that it seems the Synology version cant be made working I installed audirvana on my Linux mint computer with the NAS successfully mounted.
the service got started, avahi-daemon is running.
Here is the status.

Same network, No firewall blocking and avahi-daemaon running. Now when I start the app on the phone it first displays “connection in progress to NAS” until it times out, then shows the purple field with the computer. Tapping this I get the “unable to connect to the device” error .

Any ideas whats missing?

I have audi… running on a Synology NAS and a Linux mint computer.

when both are running, the app does not show both computers to choose from, but immediately starts with “connection in progress” to the NAS.

This eventually times out, then it shows the purple field for the Linux computer.

Tapping this I get the “Unable to connect error”. There is a separate bug filed for this.

This is repeatable.

If I stop and restart audi… from the package center on the NAS and restart the app on the phone, I see both computer and NAS tabs to choose from.

Hitting the computer tab I get the connection error, hitting the NAS tab it connects to the NAS (which refuses to sync the library).

Once I sign out of the NAS in the android app, its back to square one.
Basically you have to restart the service on the NAS in order to be able to reconnect to it.

That whole sequence is fully repeatable.

Are we alpha testing this???
