No it is a 3 TB drive with about 2.2 TB free
you can try again removing the folder in Audirvana preferences, all music will disappear in Audirvana window… go to mac again and remove the .sqlite file there.
Change you Hard drive name to something else, Files anything… restart your mac, restart audirvana, add that new music folder, and see
or just put all your music in a new folder inside the same hard drive… ‘test’…
and load only that folder to audirvana
Really weird - I renamed the HD and removed the .sqlite file, it immediately scanned the same 6 albums but then stalls.
I will try placing everything in a new folder inside the HD
OK , I made a new folder on the HD and added about 20 albums in the new folder. I set the path to that folder and it scanned correctly.
Could it just not like files loose on the hard drive. I don’t get it
I guess I’ll try putting more albums in the new folder?
Thanks so much for helping me thru this
you can put all your music elsewhere if you have place… on your mac desktop? or another hard drive to test… fill up a big usb key with one folder of music and tell audirvana this folder on the usb key, still bug at the 7th CD?
yes, maybe it doesn’t like a hard drive path, but a folder in a hard drive ?
well I’m going to keep adding to the new folder and see if it stalls
I’ll let you know
Thanks again
all albums into new folder on same hard drive - all systems go!
What a weird fix. I wouldn’t have figured that one out!
Really appreciate your time RunHomeSlow ,
Thanks so much
Now that is all good,
go to library, do a sync yourself, let it finish.
Then, close Audirvana.
Copy the .sqlite file from your Mac folder.
Save it somewhere else in a folder on your Mac or anywhere else with today’s date as a name… Now you have a perfect backup with no bug.
If next week you got a bug, or next month, just close Audirvana and put your latest backup that was safe and the same place on the Mac and you’ll be right back to that date backup in Audirvana
I tell you for sure, you will be using it sometimes
I will
Thanks
Hi everyone, I am having a similar issue with Audirvana origin running on Mac mini m4. It won’t scan my music library no matter what I do. I followed all the steps in previous posts here and nothing works for me. I did a fresh install and it didn’t work either.
I am using Audirvana origin macOS version, 2TB external ssd.
No special letters in the path of the hard dics? or strange accents?
Put pictures if you can…
