Pause no longer working when streaming

Hi all
I can no longer use the pause button on Mac and iOS when streaming to my pioneer N50A.
Button is there but non responsive - does not pause.
I stream over the network so no usb
It works when I use internal audio.
This happened all of a sudden.
Restarting Mac/Audirvana and N50A does not solve the issue.
Stop function works.

Anyone having the same issue?
Current version is: 3.5.28
Mac OS: 10.14.4
