Perenity/Reusability of metadata?

While investing an enormous amount of time in fine tuning my metadata (cover art, etc …), two questions worry me :

1. suppose that, on the same computer, I change the location of the files (containing AIFF tracks) Audirvana is synchronising to ? will the metadata be lost ?

2. suppose I buy a new computer : same question

1. If you are using Audirvāna or a metadata editor like Yate or MusicBrainz, any changes you make to the metadata will be embedded inside the file. So, you don’t have to worry about losing any information.

2. The metadata of a track is linked to its file. Therefore, when you transfer the files to a new computer, you should still be able to see the same metadata that was present on your old computer.
