Playback skipping in Tidal

Same exact thing is happening with me using tidal. Started a couple months ago. Makes it unlistenable

Still skipping over here even after the latest update. It happens only when streaming Tidal (local files are fine), and skipping problem doesn’t happen in the Tidal app, just in audirvana. I’ve tried all manner of different settings as suggested in this thread and others on the topic. Very frustrating!!!

As others have noted, the latest 3.5 update did not solve this problem. I found a clue: looking at the release notes for the Tidal app, I noticed they issued an update to their app on March 29, 2021, to fix “issues playing the final 30 seconds of a track”. That’s exactly the problem Audirvana is having, so it may be worth contacting Tidal to see what changed on their end.

Tidal still annoyingly skipping randomly but at on almost all tracks … Is there any new info on potential solution?

Same here, I only use Tidal to stream and I don’t able to listen almost any playlist or album without skip or jump some tracks
Only 3 days left for my trial …

Damien, I like playing records, but I didn’t purchase Audirvāna to have it skip like an old records player.

Tidal skips and doesn’t play until the end of the track.

This is a Audirvāna problem because I have zero problem with my Atoll ST200 streamer software and tidal account. Tidal works perfectly with the Atoll and skips using Audirvāna.

Please fix this.

I am using audirvana since the first generation and ad no problems with Tidal! But since a couple of months some tunes are skipping, but not all of them. I tried the same tunes direct from Tidal direct to my Chord dac and no skipping. Are you guy’s working on the problem? Thanks.

I am also experiencing skipping within tracks when using Tidal. There is no skipping within tracks when using Qobuz. I’m using Audirvana 3.5 on a Mac.

One more thing. I turned off Sox oversampling and the skipping has stopped. I prefer running Audirvana with oversampling, so this is not a good solution for me. I hope this helps find a fix for this issue. Thanks!

Nevermind. Still skipping on MQA tracks. :disappointed:

just loaded 3.5.50 still skipping tracks on tidal works perfectly on iphone and M1.

does someone doesn’t skip and anyone reading this from audirvana team?
we purchased the product to stream mqa from tidal. is there a way to go back to a version that don’t skip. i would like to enjoy the product like i use to.
i stated that it doesn’t skip on m1 i was wrong.
