I can see urendu audio player as an output. As soon as I hit play, it is locked.

Try to hard restart the ultraRendu. Power it completely off, wait a bit a plug it in again. Make sure it’s running the latest available firmware.

Reduce the pre-load cache to 2000MB.

Yes, it’s the lock next to the speaker icon. I tried to reset the app settings in MySonicorbiter.com for the urendu. Now, urendu no longer shows as an output in Audirvana. I can see urendu when I try to add it to Bitdefender’s exceptions. My wife just read a suggestion to route the urendu ethernet cord dirctly to the Mac mini port. It said it took 10 minutes to connect. It’s still spinning. This is new. Crossed fingers.

That connection finally failed. But, I went to preferences, network, down arrow to locations and found urendu. Then, I noticed a drop down arrow that allows DHCP with IP address. That connected the urendu for the first time. I wnet to Bitdefender to add an exception. Urendu was showing connercted in
bitdefender also. It didn’t show in audirvana so I went to Soniorbiter to change settings. I got a big warning message that a urendu was using my comuter. A few more glitches and it’s too late to fool around any more, but I think I’m very close.
