playing SACD ISO rips not working 3.5.13

Has worked all along (V2) and V3 up to 3.5.7. 3 different DACs tried. They react to the DSD64 (click! click!) change but all I hear is white noise hiss as AP plays.

Neither do DSD (.dsf) files

To which audio device are you playing ?

I’ve tried 3 different USB DACs:

Schiit Gungnir
Schiit Uber Bifrost
Geek Pulse
via two different MACs:

  1. MacBook Pro - High Sierra
  2. MacPro - Mojave
