When you listen to a playlist composed by MQA tunes and no MQA tunes, you hear a volume increasing with the MQA tunes even if you already selected that the level of all the tunes are normalized.
Nothing may be changed in an MQA file/stream. That’s the idea of the format. Bitperfect.
If you want the volume to be corrected, you can do that by setting the DAC not to be an MQA device. Then the Audirvana Decoder will decode the MQA file. And after that the volume can be compensated.
